Letchworth Gateway Villages’ director, Nicole Manapol, will be speaking at Rochester Downtown Development Corporations’ (RDDC) virtual event, Rebooting the Regional Economy, on Wednesday, March 17. Manapol will be one of six local creative leaders highlighting the ways Rochester and the Genesee Valley region can recover from COVID-19 and grow the region’s competitiveness. The talks will focus on how the area can build more sustainable businesses and get closer to achieving economic equity, making the region more competitive for rich talent.
Manapol will be discussing Digital Main Street (DMS), an online learning platform that helps small businesses and start-ups go digital and build their online presence. As DMS’ first American partner, LGV has been able to mentor businesses in the Genesee Valley.
Manapol will be joined by Barbara Egenhofer, Director of Talent Strategy - ROC 2025, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce; Adrian Hale, Sr. Manager, Workforce/Economic Development & Education Initiatives, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce; Leah George VanScott, Vice President - Business Development, Greater Rochester Enterprise; Todd Oldham, VP of Economic Development, Workforce & Career Technical Education, Monroe Community College; and Tyrone Reaves, Founder, YAMTEP, Inc. & General Manager, Truform Manufacturing.
